This article aims to understand the aspects involved in the construction of a hidden curriculum for the development of types of learning that were not foreseen in the educational planning previously stipulated. For that purpose, we analyzed the report of the teaching experience during the “Science and Art on Holidays” Program, promoted by the Dean's Office of Research of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in the first semester of 2017. The interaction with four scholarship holders attending high school allowed us to reflect on the hidden curriculum based on their personal experiences in the project “Fundamental Rights, Arts and Games: a multidisciplinary dialogue”. The centralization of teaching planning in the realities brought by the scholarship holders to the classroom, in order to relate the content of the project with the lived experiences, was rewarded with their empowerment over their political performance in society, relativizing the cultural capital in their favor, so that they could use their own culture to think about the legal field and position themselves as subjects of rights.
