Abstract

SANTOS, Aldenise Cordeiro  and  FELDENS, Dinamara Garcia. HOW DO WE BECOME WOMEN? The school as a place for producing difference. Rev. Exitus [online]. 2020, vol.10, e020064.  Epub Mar 31, 2022. ISSN 2237-9460.  https://doi.org/10.24065/2237-9460.2020v10n0id1418.

How do we become women? This is a question that drives this research, which walks through the narratives of teachers in search of understanding how knowledge and discursive productions about women in Education are produced. In order to analyze the instances and paths through which, in the school institution, discursive productions and knowledge about women in the contemporary school were built, we do not seek a woman identity, but rather to go through the speeches and knowledge produced about her. In this section we present narratives of themselves, in a Foucaultian perspective, of teachers from the interior of Sergipe. The analysis of the narratives was based on genealogy based on Nietzsche and Foucault, and was exchanged with arguments by Deleuze and Guattari, in addition to feminist authors such as Rios, Saffioti, Tiburi, Rago and Louro. In their speeches, the production of subjectivities through school is revealed, and the frameworks that knowledge and discursive productions have on the bodies of girls and girls in these classrooms.
