Abstract

LIMA, Reinaldo Feio; SILVA, Neomar Lacerda da  and  SOUZA, Ilvanete dos Santos de. Contributions of national academic productions on inclusive mathematics education. Rev. Exitus [online]. 2020, vol.10, e02008.  Epub Mar 28, 2022. ISSN 2237-9460.  https://doi.org/10.24065/2237-9460.2020v10n1id938.

This research aims to understand how the studies on Inclusive Mathematics Education (EMI) are presented in researches that discuss this subject at the Brazilian Meeting of Postgraduate Students in Mathematics Education (EBRAPEM). This is a qualitative interpretative approach. For this, the principles of Mapping in Educational Research are used, from the perspective of Biembengut (2008). After mapping the last five editions of EBRAPEM, we identified a total of fifty-six articles published in the annals of these editions that discuss Inclusive Mathematics Education. We also noticed that every edition of this event, the number of researches on this theme is decreasing, even though it is an emerging theme in the area of Mathematics Education. The analyzes made from these studies allowed the configuration of three thematic axes: (1) Studies with students; (2) Studies with teachers; and (3) Studies with uses of didactic / technological resources. In summary, the research on Inclusive Mathematics Education in EBRAPEM relies on studies with students, followed by studies with teacher training and the least explored object are studies with uses of didactic / technological resources. This reinforces the need for continuity of investigations in this field of study.
