This article presents a study that is part of a research undertaken in the field of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), as the result of a doctoral thesis, which aims to reflect on the voices in the field of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), linked to the part related to Elementary Education in the initial grades (1st to 5th year). Such investigation is justified by the need to analyze some studies already carried out by researchers in this educational stage with a view to reflect such data based on the questions regarding the educational practices that are configured in this teaching stage. Based on a theoretical-bibliographic and documentary research. The results of this study point out to the need for approximation between the content of teacher education and the students present in the classroom, who, although configured in a situation of diversity, are united in the unanimous desire to learn the linguistic skills of reading / writing at school in the face of the challenges posed by contemporary society.
