Abstract

The article criticizes the Political-Pedagogical Project of the Undergraduate Course in Visual Arts - Licenciate Degree - at the Federal University of Roraima, on the grounds of Marxist assumptions evidenced in Historical-Critical Pedagogy (SAVIANI, 2013). Based on a documentary analysis, the author presents the category of “learning to learn” (DUARTE, 2006), which makes up the formative axis of the forenamed course, demonstrating how this conception expresses material conditions that determine limits and possibilities of action in this degree, with content absence in the subjects, within procedures only, whether in the presence of subjects with an excessive number of contents. Upholding, therefore, the necessary articulation of an education of homogeneous media teaching (LUKÁCS, 1966) and pedagogical knowledge in the training of visual arts teachers.
