PEREIRA, Lidiane da Silva; STASCXAK, Francinalda Machado e FIALHO, Lia Machado Fiuza. BIOGRAPHY OF TEACHER ROSÁLIA BARROS: itinerancies of training and performance in basic education. Rev. This study is inserted in the field of History of Education by discussing the formative path and the teaching practice of an educator from Ceará. To this end, we aim to biograph Professor Rosália Barros with emphasis on her teaching practice and the factors that contributed to her professional constitution. Thus, this study was theoretically supported by the assumptions of Cultural History and the methodology of Oral History, which had its materiality from free interviews produced with the biographee herself. The findings show that Rosália Barros always studied in public schools, however, she completed the normal course in a private institution that granted scholarships to students from the lower classes. They also point out that, throughout his professional career, he has crossed generations, as well as different educational policies. Finally, they demonstrate a practice built mostly by experiential knowledge. Thus, we conclude that biographical studies always deserve new perspectives, approaches and revisitations, as they are likely to safeguard the memory and history of education.
