Abstract

In this article it is presented the book O livro de Hilda - processo analytico da leitura (The book of Hilda - analytical reading process), dated 1902, which is part of the personal collection of Köpke's family, and probably it has not been published yet. It is handwritten and drawn by João Köpke (1852-1926). The book consists of three separated, but interconnected, parts: O livro de Hilda, O livro das bonecas, instruções para seu uso. In this article it is highlighted the aspects related to the strategies of the author's writing in the Instruções para seu uso, considering the meanings of reading to the reader (student or teacher) regarding to the use of the material and to the analytical method, among some others possible to be investigated and revisited.
