Resumo

With the creation of the Secretariat of Public Education (1921), it takes the idea of 'bring civilization' to 10,324,484 million Mexicans who could not read or write. Through its Department of Rural and Indigenous Cultural Incorporation, the Cultural Missions School, undertook an intense work within rural communities that sought to 'educate for life'. Due to inexperience and lack of equipment, teaching became better understood as the teacher, therefore, Improvement Institutes were created to prepare attentive to the characteristics of each region professor, as the State of Morelos we will address in this paper.
