The purpose of this research is to make a historiographical contribution to the field of studies on the New School. Although the analysis is based on the bibliography of the Argentine case, it is considered that it can be useful to reflect on the processes of pedagogical renovation and its approach by historiography in other countries. In order to achieve this objective, an exhaustive bibliographical research was carried out to identify the main contributions on the subject of the New School in the field of the history of education in Argentina. In conclusion, it is possible to observe how, hand in hand with the historiographical renewal of the last decades, from the perspectives of a renewed cultural and intellectual history, new possibilities of research have emerged, in this case on the processes of pedagogical renewal known as the New School.
