Resumo

The article consists in the state of the art about Didactic in southeastern region of Brazil, based on the analysis and evaluation of what has been investigated and produced in this area. Researches and publications undertaken were mapped in the period of 2004 to 2010, by accredited professors to the lines of Didactic research or related areas, linked to the Postgraduate Programs in Education. The data allow identifying “what”, “about what” and “where” has been concentrated the researches and production of didactic knowledge, allowing to situate the place that the Didactic has occupied in the ambit of postgraduate production. It is noted that the Didactics has occupied less than half of the investigations (45.59%) and publications (40.84%). The identification of the “what” and “about what” has produced in the area allowed to verify a predominance of researches in investigative and professional fields related to the dimensions of the modes, which suggests a preponderance of studies geared toward to the implementation of proposals and strategies of teachers ‘ professionalization. An analysis of the locus of dissemination of knowledge produced (“where”), leads us to acknowledge that, overall, the production has been widespread in vehicles of low circulation and lower recognition. The study found the low centrality of Didactics within the researches and publications, the thematic dispersion of professors and the low percentage of works disclosed in periodicals of scientific expressiveness.
