This article aims establish approach between the childhoods visualized in the eastern film, in the film O Que Eu Mais Desejo (2011), of Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-Eda, and in Latin-american cinema, the film Cien Niños Esperando un Tren (1987), of director Ignacio Agüero. We understand childhood as a condition of experience and as plural category, traversed by different times and spaces, not limited to chronology and requirements. Through childhood experiences highlighted by every filmic project, we analyze these different contexts that how alert the philosopher Rancière (2009), make visible and assign meaning to the existence of things in the world. A world marked by deep political and aesthetic dimensions. In dialogue with this sensitive look, we wish to emphasize the otherness and difference as concepts relevant to the recognition of the “other” as potent in itself in the educational process that have focus the infant in its difference. To enhance the encounter, authors invited to this conversation are Deleuze and Guattari Gallo, Kastrup, Kohan e Rancière.
