This text aims to develop a reflective study on education and teaching work in the light of the concepts of semiformation and cultural industry. The theoretical-methodological approach is based on Adorno and Horkheimer, who discuss the education and training process and semiformation in contemporary times. For these thinkers, is emerging challenge to reflect on the possibilities of resistance to barbarism in education, as a process of awareness and self-criticism. Agreeing with this approach, we believe that the dedicated professionals to work in early childhood teacher must be aware of the obstacles inherent in the contemporary education semiformative
