GIORDANO, ROSELY CABRAL  y  NAZARETH, LANA JENNYFFER SANTOS. SOCIAL ACCELERATION AND DIGITAL CULTURE. NEW FORMS OF DOMINATION. Rev. Comunic [online]. 2017, vol.24, n.2, pp.103-126. ISSN 2238-121X.  https://doi.org/10.15600/2238-121X/comunicacoes.v24n2p103-126.

The theme of the essay – related to the investigation School violence: discrimination, bullying and responsibility (CROCHÍK, 2013) – focuses on school violence in school bullying. We examined in particular the conceptions of educators (teachers and pedagogical coordinators) of the 8th series/9th years of three public schools in the city of Ananindeua (PA) on issues related to bullying. Such conceptions were raised through semi-structured interviews and focused on the perception of these educators about: the causes of intimidation; the profile of students who are attacked and / or attacked; on whether the students in the situation of inclusion are victimized as much as the other students in the schools in which they work and, finally, on possible actions to combat bullying. The analysis of these conceptions is carried out from the framework of the Critical Theory of Society, particularly the empirical social research, according to Adorno, Horkheimer and Marcuse.

Palabras clave : CRITICAL THEORY OF SOCIETY; SCHOOL VIOLENCE; DISCRIMINATION AND PREJUDICE.
