Abstract

The objective of this text is to raise questions on the evaluation processes that are instituted in the universities, endorsed in the results of the research that I come developing on the Program of Evaluation of the University of the State of Mato Grosso - UNEMAT. We bring a reflection on the meanings, the directions and the effect of the evaluation for education, the research, the extension and the university management. We raise questions on the evaluation and the taking of decision. The results point with respect to the importance to fortify the participativos processes of evaluation constructed by the institutions and to consume the results of the evaluation next to the people who had produced them, the academic community, provoking the reflection and, consequentemente, the taking of decision.
