In teacher’s education area, the narratives about professional development processes have been taken as initial and continuous educational activities, also as research and intervention practices. The access to narratives allows the research of aspects such as the construction of teacher’s identity by telling personal stories in a process, eminently of authorship. That enables to distinguish what is his own and what comes from others, his/her manner of being and acting as a teacher and the influences the teacher suffered. Its potential as a research method puts the teachers in the center of the process. As a result, it can also promote changes in school’s pedagogical practices.
