Abstract This research tried to investigate the professional trajectory of younger, giving emphasis in skin´s color. For this, thirteen students had been interviewed, based on History of Life, Becker (1999), trying to understand the trajectory that they had developed after to conclude the technician course. The analyzes of data had as theoretical supports studies of Petruccelli (1998); Hall (1999); Velho (1999) and Teixeira (2003). This kind of studies reflect on the importance about data on color in Brazil and stimulate the research production on the anthropology and social dimensions in the process of the Brazilian to classify themselves and to classify the others.
