Abstract

Guided studies anthropology of the child, the research analyzes the processes of education the body the child’s Chiquitano during a ritual that identifies this indigenous people living in the border between Brazil and Bolivia. Educational processes are understood in dialogue with the history of everyday struggle and symbolic violence experienced to guarantee the right to the disputed land by farmers and politicians Mato Grosso. The Curussé as meaningful social practice in the context of conflict, expresses the meanings of education that the body marks the equality of gender, age and social hierarchies, in a Christian spirit which opposes the civilized.
