This article aims to analyze the implications of the expansion of the Distance Learning for teachers’ work and their relationship to changes in the workplace, focusing the analysis on the professionals who serve as tutors in these courses. Had two procedures that complement the development of research: a study of the records relating to of the Distance Learning and a qualitative research study of the type of case. Qualitative research was undertaken in a tertiary institution where interviews were held with the guardians of the of the Distance Learning.
