Abstract

Interculturality is the mutual acknowledgement of cultures without hierarchies. It set ups the conditions to prepare the analysis of decolonization of knowledge and power inherent to it. The historical process consists of socio-cultural and politico-economical domination that doesn’t respect biodiversity or cultural diversity. The link between local knowledge and universal knowledge is the reference so decolonization in education revalues languages and cultures and adapts to its possibilities in global context taking into account revaluation of other visions of the world, value system and foundations to build its own knowledge.
