In this article presents a study on reason, body, existence and formation in Merleau-Ponty’s thought and his contributions for the decoloniality of pedagogical making. Merleau-Ponty presents us a great challenge: to break with the dualisms that dichotomize understanding about human being. For this philosopher, man is a being of totality and so must be understood. The starting point of our reflection is the notion of reason as reason embodied in the life world (Lebenswelt) that breaks with the conception of instrumental reason. Thenceforth, we developed our reflection on body, existence, formation and its contributions for the decoloniality of pedagogical making.
