Abstract The intention of this essay is to understand the impact of epistemological domination and cultural to the environmental education, the influences of the theory of post-colonialism in the formation of social, cultural and environmental rights in the face of globalization. The extent to which schools/communities within the context of globalization create emergencies and resistances favorable to the interchange, the exchanges and the sharing with popular knowledge of sustainable practices? Constitute themselves as problems of research in Environmental Education mapping places practiced subjects/communities/schools, their experiences and sustainable practices invisibilized in a articulation of knowledge schools and communities. This activism transboundary of environmental education has made it possible to understand how the context enhances the other.
