This article resulted from collaborative research held in a blended Pedagogy Course at The Federal University of Ceará, in which the disciplines of Integrator Seminar I and II were used. Aimed to evaluate the heuristic potential of writing about one s self for reflection on professional identity, many assumed that the choice of teaching as something natural or not questioned. The biographization allowed awareness of the process of identity formation.
