In order to reflect on economy, culture and production of knowledge, the text is based on investigations on space/times of producing life associatively, in particular the ancient cultures of the peoples and traditional communities. Documentary sources show resistance of these groups to the so called surrounding society, which seeks to subject the nature of their control. Their way of life show that, in the context of flexible accumulation, primary mediations overlap with the mediation of the second order of capital. Reaffirming the work as an educational principle, the article indicates that knowledge are woven in the economic-cultural practices, which should be an object of further research in the field of Work and Education.
