Abstract

This text is a result from a research on the Proinfantil Program in Mato Grosso and it aims to identify continuities/discontinuities in the pedagogic practices of the professionals who participated in the program. The analysis herein conducted are based on theoretical foundations and specific laws concerning the formation of teachers for Children Education. The studied sample is composed of 37 subjects, and the data were collected by means of surveys, class observation and interviews. The results show that the formation process led these professionals to problematize their practices, thus enabling a dialogue with theory and reframing the roles of all the involved people.
