Abstract

CAIMI, Flávia Eloisa. School subjects into PNLD context: gaps, developments and challenges in Textbook evaluation. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2015, vol.24, n.57, pp.525-543. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.2015/repub-v24n57set.dez003.

The study focuses on some issues related to Textbook evaluation under the National Textbook Program (PNLD) aiming to highlight tendencies in didactic and pedagogical definitions that make up the main curricular components from 6th to 9th grade, which are: Portuguese, Mathematics, Science, Geography and History. The source for the work were Textbook Guides from 2008 and 2011 and the analysis was developed from two axes: 1) mapping of the approved collections by each curricular component and publisher, the universities hosting the evaluation, the evaluators by discipline and gender. 2) survey of pedagogical specificities, which consists in identifying the main gaps in the textbook for each component.
