Abstract

This paper theme is the investigation method of value formation in ontogenesis. We intend to polemize with J. Piaget and state that moral-intellectual parallelism, held by the author, leads to misunderstandings in both the comprehension of the problem and the further pedagogic guidelines emerged from it. Piaget states that moral education should be held by cooperation between children, dismissing adult's participation. We find in the Vygotskian tradition a thesis that sustain the mutual dependency between thinking and evaluation development. Its articulation is authentically new in development and not just the unfolding of aprioristic tendencies. The conclusion is that values can pedagogically guided.
