This study examines meanings of school in discourses of teachers at a public school. Thus, descriptions and subjective interpretations of experiences of work and of life take place in central analysis, having as reference the constructionist approach of Social Psychology. For the production of data, was applied biographical interview. For the analysis of data, systemized-if themes which revealed the association of these senses, networked, linking the work to the production of knowledge, socialization with their students and other teachers, considering the social ascension, to the extent that they understand that their work is reflected socially.
