Abstract

BEHAR, Patricia Alejandra  and  SCHNEIDER, Daisy. Pedagogical models and Competences in Distance Education: building the MP-CompEAD. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2016, vol.25, n.59, suppl.2, pp.504-524. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.5965/010459622559n22016504.

This article deals with pedagogical models and their constituent elements, highlighting pedagogical architecture in the context of distance education. In addition to that, we herein describe the competences required for teaching in such a context. Based on these concepts, we present a case study about the development and validation of a proposal for a pedagogical model based on competencies aimed at teachers and tutors in distance education, called MP-CompEAD. Finally, we expose the results, showing their possible contributions to the competence-building process.
