Abstract

Literature sees Teaching Cases as major to ols in teacher training. Under a qualitative approach, this study investigated whether the Teaching Case My true story, written by a teenage girl, would foster reflections and discussions about teaching practice and the construction of general pedagogi cal knowledge, pedagogical knowledge of content, and knowledge of specific content with writing/reading teachers. The results showed that the narrative of the Teaching Case reached its goal, contributing to their professional development.
