Abstract

This paper proposes to enlighten about how the social-environmental theme appears in the initial steps of Community University of the Region of Chapecó (Unochapecó gradua tions). To achieve such task and build a critical analysis, the documental search and Pedagogi cal Project were used, methodologically selec ting the environment issues of those papers, resulting in a synoptic table which shows its presence essentially in Biological Sciences, while in other graduations it was sporadic, punctual and an uncritical perspective. The research is based on the called Freirian envi ronmental education which is grounded in the contributions of Paulo Freire for Environmental Education.
