Abstract

The domain of epistemology is the tool that man has to take care of the orientation of the production of knowledge; it helps the subjects in understanding and intervention in the natural world and in the social world. In this sense, in this article, the term epistemology of praxis is constructed through the dialectical historical materialist method, as the basis of the construction of critical and emancipatory scientific knowledge. It is argued that, in guiding the steps of academic production, it generates an epistemic process that occurs explicitly in the field of consciousness, interiority, and awareness, because it generates meaningful knowledge that emancipates, the epistemic and the social.
