Abstract

This study aimed to construct and evidence analysis measuring instruments validation to assess school climate from the perspective of students and teachers from the final years of elementary school. After review of national and international research investigating the school climate they were prepared a reference matrix and appropriate evaluative items to Brazilian schools. After the content analysis by experts were applied to a sample of 797 students and 243 teachers from public and private schools. To construct validation, we used the theoretical model Reflective, where, in the Confirmatory Factor Analysis procedure, significant factor loadings were obtained in the different instruments.
