Abstract

The article aims to analyze the trajectory of a quilombola teacher and her experiences with school education. It is based on the concepts of quilombo and ethnic group, and methodo logically works with trajectory and life stories. It elaborates brief considerations on the access to the writing by some blacks in the course of century XIX. In recent years he describes the researcher’s contacts with quilombola teachers, emphasizing his collaborations for textbook and video-documentary. In the last part, it analyzes the trajectory and the experiences of the teacher Olindina in the field of education and political militancy.
