Abstract

ALVES, Manoel Messias Santos  and  PAGAN, Alice Alexandre. Correlation between emotional balance and vulnerability to STI/AIDS in a study on school performance with adolescents. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2019, vol.28, n.69, pp.793-819.  Epub June 15, 2020. ISSN 2238-2097.

This article aimed to analyze possible relationships between vulnerability to STI/AIDS and quality of life indicators for high school students. A questionnaire based on STI vulnerability to STIs was constructed and validated, and a validated quality of life questionnaire was also adapted. The form was applied to 103 students of the 3rd year of high school of three schools of the Aracaju state education network. It was found that quality of life, in general, does not interfere with the manifestation of vulnerable behaviors, however an important correlation between psychological quality of life and vulnerability was identified.
