Abstract

NETO, Luiz Bezerra  and  CORREIO, Juan Carlos Rodriguez Cruz. Identity-transcultural and its pedagogical treatment in the middle education of Cuba and Brazil. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2020, vol.29, e8261.  Epub Mar 02, 2020. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v29ijan/dez.8261.

The work addresses the category of cultural identity as an anthropological concept in its historical cultural evolution. The result of the interrelations and transmutations that occur in Cuba and in Brazil is valued as a result of the phenomenon known as transculturation; a phenomenon that allows us to understand the procedure and the passage of what is today the New Society that was created in Latin America very different from the societies from which the societies that paid tribute to its formation arose. A pedagogical treatment is given to the category of cultural identity starting from the creation of a categorial system that allows the work to the professors of the secondary schools of Cuba and of Brazil.

Keywords : cultural identity; transculturation; Cuba; Brasil.
