Abstract

SEIDMANN, Suzana. NARRATIVES AND SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONSINSPIRED IN AND DIALOGUING WITH SANDRA JOVCHELOVITCH. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2020, vol.29, e10045.  Epub May 25, 2020. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v29ijan/dez.10045.

We approach the relationship between Narratives and the Theory of Social Representations, from a theoretical perspective. According to the conference held by Sandra Jovchelovitch in the XII CIRS, in Sâo Paulo, Brazil, we open up the narrative analysis of the central core, agreeing with J. C. Abric´s Theory of the Central Core.We illustrate this relationship with data taken from a research about people living in the streets and other participants who live in situations of vulnerability and stigmatization. We conclude that it is possible and interesting to undertake this relationship, given the interesting results found.

Keywords : narratives; social representation theory; vulnerability; stigma.
