NOVAES, Adelina de Oliveira y PASSEGGI, Maria da Conceição Ferrer Botelho Sgadari. Möbius band and fractal: approximations between social representations and narratives. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2020, vol.29, e10127. Epub 25-Mayo-2020. ISSN 2238-2097. https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v29ijan/dez.10127.
Based on the premise that the central core of a social representation is a narrative, we turn to the studies of Jerome Bruner and Serge Moscovici to think of alternatives that favor changes in social representations in teacher education. We propose a reflection on the images of the fractal and the Möbius strip as metaphors to illustrate how we understand narratives as a unit at the core of a social representation, admitting that they are at the same time constitutive of social representations constituted by them. In this sense, the use of narratives as a modality of intervention in teacher education would simultaneously allow changes in social representations and the re-signification of pedagogical practices.
