In this essay we approach the theme of image pedagogy and intend to answer the following question: what does photography reveal for an image pedagogy? When examining the technical and dialectical image supported by the philosophy of Vilém Flusser and Walter Benjamin, we aim to establish a relationship between photographic image, aesthetics and pedagogy. As result, we argue that, even in the incessant technical reproduction, we see ways for a pedagogy of image from photography, when it has the potential to echo beyond the technique and photographic devices, enabling creation and imagination that overcome life automated by gadgets.
