Based on the relationship between migration and education, this article aims to verify the curriculum documents of Basic Education of the Northeast Region of Brazil to understand how such documents reflect the migration phenomenon. Based on the post-structuralist orientation, the documents were investigated in search of markings and variations of the presence of the migrant subject, considering different theoretical traditions, critically exercising the bricolage. As considerations, we have that the curriculum documents still do not consider the phenomenon of international migration and its complexity in a convincing way. There are two movements, the first of invisibility and the second of fragmented and non-problematizing consideration.
