Abstract

PRESTES, Zoia  and  TUNES, Elizabeth. L. S. Vygotsky: the topicality of his thinking requires the recovery of his work. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2022, vol.31, e12692.  Epub Mar 31, 2022. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v31ijan/dez.12692.

In this text we present informations about the efforts to recover Vygotsky’s works in Russia. Also an analysis and a brief description are made on the first volume of the author’s Complete Works. As an example, it is transcribed and translated a review on childrens’ theater, published by Vygotsky, in 1923, which is commented by the editor of the volume, Wladimir Sobkin. We point out some clues of the origins of some Vygotsky’s ideas about child development. Finally, we argued that a lot more efforts must be done to recover his wholly works and to examine the most fundamentals ideas that keep his ideas actualized.
