Abstract

The article discusses inequalities in remote education in the context of COVID-19, based on the case of Tremembé indigenous schools in rural Ceará, which adopted the strategy of delivering printed activies to students, considering the limitations of access to the means of virtual connection within of the villages. The study is the result of cocumentary reserarch in official Decress, Opinions and Guidelines. The videoconference reports analyzed expressed the tension between indigenous directors and representatives of the state education agency, as the Tremembé resisted this etrategy because they feared the proliferation of the coronavirus during the delivery of activities to studants.
