In this text we point out reflections on education in the digital, the COVID-19 pandemic, stifled democracies and resistances. Such reflections catalyze some discussions held within the research group Laboratory of Studies on Information and Communication Technologies in Education and the Education 2021 Seminar. This is an eminently theoretical, bibliographical paper. The practices of digital culture as ways of existence, as possibilities of resuming and continuing activities, as maintenance of social presence and resistance. It is urgent to strengthen democracies against any kind of discrimination and prejudice, in favor of minorities, in the promotion of inclusion policies, in the defense and maintenance of a public, quality, and socially referenced education.
