Abstract

BARBOSA, Renata Peres; SILVA, Monica Ribeiro da  and  MOTTA, Lucas Gabriel. High School BNCC at the first public hearing: from the controversies in the process to the approved text. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2022, vol.31, e12745.  Epub Oct 06, 2022. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v31ijan/dez.12745.

The objectives of the research here reported were: to identify the subjects involved in the formulation of the Brazilian High School Common Curriculum Base and also to problematize the approved text relating it to the interlocutors and arguments found in the first public hearing about the theme. From the full transcription interest groups were categorized and the arguments were analyzed. A polarization was identified, marked by the argument in favor of the reform of high school and the BNCC, concentrated in representatives linked to private foundations and institutes. The contrary argument was mainly carried out by entities from the academic and political-organizational fields, such as teaching unions and the student movement.

Keywords : Curriculum Policies; Brazilian Common Curriculum Base; High School Reform.
