From the future category, youth oriented the research. In order to analyze the social representations about the future and youth, we sought to identify the structure of the representations; central and peripheral elements related to social practices. Questionnaires were applied with 129 Senac-GO students, processed by SPSS and Iramuteq software and submitted to descriptive and similitude statistics analysis. It can be concluded that the system of social representations of young people about the future is constituted based on historical conditions that perpetuate an unequal reality.
