This article is an excerpt from a master's research completed in 2021. The objective was to present the institutional trajectory of the 10 years of the graduate degree in Education at the University of the State of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT) in the training and qualification of master’s in education and the relevant role of university professors in its strengthening. From a bibliographical and documental research, the importance of the program for the formation of the subjects and the social impact generated by the developed researches are highlighted.
