The presente work’s objective is to analyze the Distance Education (DE) modality expansion. It also aimsto study the vertiginous growth in Law school enrollment as a result of the deregulation promoted during Michel Temer’s government (2016-2018) and Jair Messias Bolsonaro’s government (2019-2022). The research was done by way of literature revision concerning the theme, as well as through legal documents analysis. Through the cognitive normative frame work, it is concluded that the superior education de regulation advanced by business and conservative forces, in the neoliberal rational e context, created legislative and normative alterations that favor ed educational conglomerates, specially private-mercantile superior education institutions.
