Abstract

Research describes the planning, development, and evaluation of a training program on inclusion of public students of special education in higher education to Federal University of Pará professors - Campus Castanhal, Brazil. Training program was organized in five themes, according to professors’ interest: Special and Inclusive education; visual deficiency; deafness; autism and accessibility. It has been concluded that is possible to perform formative actions based on professors’ demands and it has been identified need of greater workload, support material, practical activities, and training institutionalization so that occurs continuously, and contribute to improve education quality offered to public persons of Special Education.
