Abstract

EUFRASIO, Daniela Aparecida. Considerations on relations between readers’ preparation and production of knowledge. LTP [online]. 2013, vol.31, n.60, pp.137-150. ISSN 2317-0972.

Abstract In this paper, we present and discuss some arguments of agreement (Perelman; Olbrechts-Tyteca, 2002) found in dissertations that focus Portuguese language teaching. Our objective is to evaluate those arguments that are recurrent in the production of knowledge about teaching Portuguese and the agreements presumably accepted in these dissertations. Based on our findings, we present reflections on current reader training and knowledge production in the university arena, highlighting the relationship between “what was read” and “what the result of having read was”. Finally, we present some aspects to be considered in reader’s development that are not limited to the reproduction of what is already said.

Keywords : Reader Training; Knowledge Production; Portuguese Teaching.
