The work presents differential relations triggered by encounters between images and thoughts regarding the production of the academic curriculum. The purpose of the research is to think of becomings that emerge from the child and the teacher in their encounter with the "other one" of their thought. It aims at mapping the destabilizing power of the pictures illustrating children's literature books and/or cinematographic images, in the attempt of weaving lines of flight from the recognitive models related to learning, teaching and becoming someone, leading to more sensitive processes of knowledge production and living in the schools. In order to do so, it was necessary to promote the children's encounter with the pictures from the novel "The Little Prince" and the teachers' encounter with the movie "The Red Balloon". As theoretical intercessors, we have taken the contributions of Corazza (2008), when discussing the becoming-teaching; Deleuze's (2006), while debating on the non-dogmatic thought; Foucault's (2006), when the ethics and esthetics of existence are explicit; and Rolnik's (2007), when it is about nominating affects. In relation to the encounters produced between images and thoughts, the promotion of a teaching or learning model is disregarded, just as the presentation of a way of being a child and/or teacher at schools. It was important to understand, in these encounters, the new things produced. Also how the relation between images and thoughts has been affecting the thinking movement considering the academic curriculum production.
