This article questions the meanings attributed to the notion of Childhood and the issues surrounding the pedagogical myth in Early Childhood Education, working from image productions of children. Creating connections between the images produced by children and the perspective of a “pedagogical practice” in Early Childhood Education, the hegemonic idea of chronological time in and of childhood is addressed.
